Class Description

It is in spacious awakeness, in relaxed alertness, that we most easily find our true sense of ground, being, and joy. With the ever-increasing strife in many parts of our world, it can be hard not to get caught in the suffering and pain so many are facing, not to mention the day-to-day struggles of our own minds. And yet, it is our radiance and deep heart happiness that can do most to uplift the collective psyche and bring harmony to all of life, including our own.

In these classes, we will practice pathways of freeing ourselves from tension and learn how to share this atmosphere for the greater benefit of our planet. Real repose and relaxation is not giving way to habits of unconsciousness, but letting go into a dynamic, loving, spacious, and awake connectedness.

The phrase "Mystic Relaxation" is taken from the teachings of Hazrat Inayat Khan, whose teachings on the subject we will embody, along with others. Our time together will be based on living experience, using guided meditation, contemplation, and concentration to soften the grip of the habitual identity and dissolve into the source of all being.

This is a drop-in class series, and you are welcome to attend as frequently as you wish. However, the classes do build on each other, and the energy and intent will be strengthened for you and the gathering group if, after a class or two, you decide how often you will attend and hold to that rhythm.
