This unique and beautiful location is an ideal place to go deeply into silence and sacred experience with ourselves, with each other, with nature, and all that is.

Set on 180 acres adjacent to a national forest, RMERC has a simple, unadorned wooden retreat lodge, surrounded by hiking trails, wildlife, and serene and inspiring views.

This week-long residential retreat will be experience-based, centered around engaging the full human being. We will connect with the sacred in everything we do, not only in our so-called spiritual practices.

Taking inspiration from a recent trek in Nepal, I will guide practices inviting the outer vastness of the mountains, land, and sky to mirror back to us the inner vastness of the soul. Further, we will allow the magnitude and greatness of the soul to complete our sense of the whole we are, beyond our habitual perceptions and limitations.

In addition to zikr, meditation, and song, we will engage in systemic constellations, hikes, and time for solitude. This will be an opportunity to go deeply into yourself, with much silence if you wish, perfect for a spiritual “re-set.” Everyone will be of service through light activities such as chopping vegetables, taking out the trash, and other small tasks to help the center and our community run smoothly.

This retreat will be limited to 14 participants to foster intimacy and give ourselves room to spread out in the space. This will truly be an immersive experience in sangha, nature, and the sacred in all; we hope you can join us.
